Agreed, but over time changing coaches to often will lead us down the road Nebraska and Alabama have ended up on.

I voted "want him to stay". Having to change coaches often is a bad idea and if we are forced to change again that would be 3 different coaches in 4 years. Not good. Im not in love with Miles but he's been a good steward of our program.

I think you just put things in perspective quite perfectly. Nice job. Totally agree.

LSUgirlinTx Is it game time yet?

I'd be upset to see him go, but I'd completely understand.

Anytime someone asks "Well, how would you have acted if you were Saban when he was going to Miami or Bama?" I say- See Les Miles.

I think he's gone, and I wish him nothing but the best. :miles:

I would be dissappointed if CLM left for UM, but I wouldn't crash and burn. I will wait to see who we get as our next coach(s) before I go that far with it.

CLM has us ranked in the Top 10 and in great shape talent wise, and he's a pretty likable guy too.

Maybe, in the short term, we are spurned by another coach with aspiriations of something other than being loved at LSU. But maybe in the long run, we end up with a big-time coach that will continue our big-time success.

I want him to stay but I don't blame him for leaving. Its not like he is just leaving for money, it's his alma mater.
