    WAAAAYYYYY LATE on this topic...and IMO, it shouldn't have been asked.

    You gotta back the coach that you have, Doc--ESPECIALLY one that just finished an 11-win season in his first year...

    it would of been interesting to see though what would of happen if spurrier got the job over archer way back then....

    One thing is for sure.........we wouldn't have had 10 years of losing nor Curley Hallman and Gerry DiNardo.

    Hey now, that's way too much information about you and a helluva personal assumption about the rest of us.:hihi:

    In regards to Spurrier/USC, the whole 'he only won one more game than the previous year' argument is foolish when you consider what he had to work with. However, they certainly didn't win those games with his fun n' gun offense. So perhaps he is a bit more than a system coach.

    I am like most people Steve is one fine coach . I wanted him , but I am glad we have Coach Miles I like his style , winning The Gov't Car

    I would say I have at least above average education and I fail to understand the Cadillac here?
