Im a diehard SEC. I always cheer for the SEC in non-conference and bowl games. I love the hard nosed defenisive attitude of the SEC in comparison other conferences who favor all O and no D. However I can cheer for Bama again. Im sick of the media love of Little Nicky not to mention the already pompous Bama fans. If Bama wins back to back titles their heads will explode. If UGA somehow beats Bama and plays for the title then I will certainly cheer for them.
You'd actually pull for Saban to win the last 3 out of 4 NCs? I don't have the intestinal fortitude for that...
I dont care if Bama was playing USC, Texas, Ou, etc. I cant stand any of them schools, but no way Id cheer for Bama.
As my dad said a few weeks ago, "If Bama was playing against the Iranian army, I would pull for the Iranian army." That applies here; I pulled for Aggies; I can pull for the Fighting Catholics, too.
if it is Bama in the NCG, not a chance in hell i'm pulling for them and I do not care who the opponenet is.
3 out of the last 4 would kill me. ND vs Bama. Touchdown Jesus vs Satan. That's easy. Go with Touchdown Jesus.
Ok that's it. The wedding's off. ND just hasn't played the same competition that ANY SEC team plays and they haven't for years. I understand the whole "national" schedule argument, but most of the teams on their schedule haven't been relevant in quite some time. If they ever come through a year unscathed where they play five teams ranked in the BCS Top 25 (with one week to go in the season), with two of those being in the top 4, then ok they would deserve a title shot. Until then, they are a media creation because of the size and strength of their fanbase and they must be destroyed. Unfortunately, this year it looks like it's up to Little Nicky to do just that.
I understand your points completely. Also, remember that they could still lose to USC, and if they do,they will drop like a rock. I'm merely going with the lesser of two evils.
the thought of Bama winning 3 out of 4 makes me wanna puke! I'd rather see USC win a title than Bama at this point....
