Not in a million years. I've had people tell me (before this year) that they would trade all 5 of our baseball NC's for one football NC...not me, though. Each and every one of those 5 baseball NC's is special in it's own way. But then, LSU baseball is my own personal passion, and to each his own. That having been said, with the girls facing top-seeded Texas this weekend, I'd say the chances of the Tigers winning in Omaha look a lot brighter than the girl's chances do. Of course, I'll be pulling for the upset...no reason we couldn't have NC's in both sports, is there? :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
first off... no one deserves any national championship. Its earned and until you get it, you dont deserve it. Would i trade a baseball NC for a woman's BB? Hell no... never. If they earn it then good for them, Ill praise them.... Truth be told... women's sports are 2nd to mens in all areas as far as interest (overall) minus your UCONN and Tennessee's hoops. And they always will be. They can shove the WNBA etc down our throats all they want but it wont change actual interest in the sports. I'll follow LSU women's (fill in the blank) whenever there is no men's anything on. Softball is unique to women's college so i find it most interesting. Basketball ...they should use a regulation size ball anyhow but its still mediocre. Track? mens or womens i dont attend but dont mind watching on tv occasionally. Women's sports are average at best but sometimes beats the 101st rerun of the world series of poker. I will sit through the first 100 reruns then I may change the channel. Nah poker is still more exciting.
