Quit hyping Jarrett Lee. He was garbage. Remember the Alabama game when he threw two INTs back to back when the pressure came. That's why he was benched from that point on. JJ was a little better than Lee, so that's why he played more. Give the kid some time, he will be a very good QB. This was just his second start. Remember the light did not come on for Mett until the Bama game in his junior.

Whoa, Hoss! He was 9-0 as a starter in the almost magical 2011 season.

The season was magical! I would have been 9-0 up to the Bama game with that team. He could not handle pressure. Look at the margins of victory up to the Bama game. Cake walks!!!!

Jarrett lee went through more adversity during his years at LSU than anyone and he rose above it. To this day he still keeps what happened to him to himself. And he never had a run in with the law. Oh and he was undefeated as a starter in his last season. I'd take him over Jefferson every time.

Jennings may very well be more talented than Jefferson. But I haven't seem much yet. And if you can't see that the offense is limited because he doesn't have a total grasp of the playbook, you are about as bright as Jordan Jefferson.

I love when fans pretend to know more about the players then the coaches who evaluate the players on a daily basis. Lee was simply not as good as JJ and the staff knew that. He only started because JJ got in trouble. Otherwise, Lee would have been a relief pitcher his entire senior year. Les had to play JJ in the Bama game because the pressure was too much for Lee to handle.

Again, This kid has only started two games. He will be fine. Remember how Lee played after his second start. Really, how good was Lee. He lost the starting job his red shirt freshman year to a walk-on from Harvard.

U don't know more than the coaching staff, buddy.

Let's Just stick to the facts!!!!!!!

U'll probably respond with an insult. That's what desperate debaters do. No fault, just a weakness. Please respond with factual info.

Jarrett Lee also sealed the 2010 win vs. Alabama, threw the miracle fade to Terrance Toliver after the bounce pass fake field goal, threw the Chris Mitchell TD pass to beat Auburn in 08, got us a HUGE first down on a 4th down in the Tennessee debacle, that kept the tigers alive. For all of his bad moments he had some good ones too. Jordan Jefferson was a better athlete. He wasn't a better pocket quarterback, his mobility and ONLY his mobility won him the job over Lee.

U didn't Stop reading Red55. It's just sad that LSU fans don't give JJ any credit for winning a ton of games, but are quick to praise Lee.

They both were average QBs. Jefferson was just better.

Jarrett Lee got picked up by the San Diego Chargers for a short period of time. Did Jordan Jefferson make it anywhere? Maybe the Canadian Football League?

Better at kicking guys in the face while on the ground and making a talented offense one dimensional.

He should have been practicing ball skills with a bar of soap in the shower at Baton Rouge's finest correctional facility.
