Just to add on, this was a great game of smashmouth football. LSU played physical, tough, and inspired football last night, as did Auburn. I'm disappointed that AU lost the way we did (it was almost anti-climactic), but you gotta give a tip of the cap to LSU and it's fans. Great, hard-fought contest. So, what do we nickname this game,..... the "Upright Game?" Good luck the rest of the way. :thumb:
Hard-fought game indeed, but just once----just once---I want to see LSU actually, you know, play to its potential. To me, I define that as few if any turnovers, penalties and catching stinking passes that hit you in the hands when you're all alone in the endzone, a la Jackie Smith in the Super Bowl. Two out of three last night ain't bad, I suppose.
i hadnt been to lsu or even baton rouge really in about 5 years, and i noticed couple things: 1. the girls at lsu are always hotter than anything. 3. i looked around a little for the team katt tailgate to say hello, but i got tired of looking and gave up. 4. the stadium wasnt so crazy loud as i remember, but my seats were terrible. 5. lsu fans do an awesome job of bearing down on the opposing offense when they are trying to call plays/audibles. i like that.
You've got to get down more often. I have withdraws over the off season, I can't imagine going 5 years. Might as well shoot me. Shhh, my wife might hear ya. :hihi:
