What he was referring to was the fact that several whole sections of LSU fans were booing and chanting during the playing of My Old Kentucky Home, our state song. He felt disrepected.
Spoken like a true member of the band or cheerleader. Football players could care less about that kind of rah rah BS.
Are you talking to me, man? I am sitting out here in California stewing over the loss. Exactly how did I disrespect your old kentucky home? I've never even set foot in your state.
LOL...yeah and here I thought I was sitting in Baton Rouge watching the game but in reality I was actually in the stands booing. I need to lay off of whatever I was on tonight because I actually thought I was home. /sarcasm off
I sure hope Miles didn't intentionally run out on the field early during the song. When I saw that I thought to myself, "Oh oh, that will be some ammo for UK". I don't think they came out on purpose because I can't see Miles doing that, but how can you not hear the band playing. Did they think UK was coming out at that time and wanted to come out then? I don't think it was right to come out when they did though. You just don't do that.
That's the height of silliness. Who genuinely cares about when a team comes out, especially in the context of what the band is playing? Even if mattered (and it doesn't), I'm guessing it wasn't intentional, if that is indeed what happened.
