As a clarification... yes, it DOES hurt that the media tried to discredit our TITLE... but when is the last time the media actually got ANYTHING right? Most true sports fans know that the AP is NOT the "know all" when it comes to sports. Talking to sensible fans from a lot of different schools, they all credit LSU with its title (yes, even a couple of USC students and fans.) We may not like it, but USC did win a title--an AP title. But we also won a title, the championship that was voted on. Money runs this show, and Louisiana cannot compete with southern cal. If anyone else had won the sugar in 2003, they'd be in the same ****. Fortunately for LSU, we're on the rise and USC is slowly, but surely falling... crumble and burn baby, crumble and burn!!!!!
I want some pics when it goes up. Thats it. I also want pics of the idiot USC fans who try to deface it and get arrested
don't know if this has already been posted, but this writer from CNN.si is all over this story: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/justin_doom/01/19/dooms.day/index.html
Saw some posts on USC's Scout site telling the members to bombard the site with ICP pings or whatever
Talk about inferiority complexes. LSU fans put up a site with reasonable arguments about 2003. Encourage USC fans to participate. USC fans create websites that insult LSU fans with tried stereotypes. Now they go on a "let's destroy onpeat.com" rampage. Irrational attacks are the response of a fearful group.
Man, after reading that forum, it's viscous on there. I love the Brokeback mountain comments though lol. Surprisingly, there are a few sensible USC fans on there and some embarrasing LSU fans on there, but oh well. I haven't seen any refutation of the point the billboard makes.
