I specifically noted the 3rd down play against Chattanooga last week at about their 20 yard line. Chark streaking over the middle of the field, an easy TD, and with pressure on Etling he throws the ball about 5 yards over his head. That was more than concerning to me.
Someone needs to make a .gif out of the one Gage dropped. Etling threw a deep out that would have pleased Tom Brady. If Gage hadn't been wearing a helmet it would have hit him between the eyes, and he didn't even see it coming!?!
Our history of rolling with true freshman QB's isn't very good. You do remember Jarrett Lee's initiation to the SEC, don't you? And he had a better line than now and established receivers.
