Unfortunately he still may not say it on the air if he has been told to not broadcast it before the press conf.

ESPN Radio 790 out of Miami said that Saban left the meeting to go back to his house and told reporters there is "No timetable" for the deal to go down at this point, and that he is preparing for the Bowl game.

    Buddy on the record.

Just to clear up a few things... Reply
Wayne High-Zinger's plane landed this morning at 7AM in BTR...it is still there...is was supposed to go back to Miami at 9:30AM...

Nick Saban and Jimmy Sexton had an hour and half meeting with Skip Bertman from 9:30-11AM...you dont take that long to say good bye...

Saban told the media fifteen minutes ago "no timetable, and I'm excited about the bowl game" then drove back home...

Beat writer who wrote Miami Herald story yesterday may have been off on numbers but right on with his opinion...

There are rumors that the pot may have sweetened here and anybody that thinks this thing is over is crazy...

at this time no official press conference scheduled as of yet...

Buddy denied, on the record, that he said Saban is staying.
