I haven’t read the bill but pork is what politicians shove into every bill. You’re just a party hack and couldn’t care less for veterans unless they can be used politically
It passed the first time 84-14 in the Senate but the house sent it back with changes. If they only would have voted for it without changes there would be no discussion. I don't know what the changes were but er'body got to put their fudge stain on something.
The "change" was that they got word Joe Manchin agreed to a bit of Joe Biden's economic and environmental programs. They got pissed so are looking for payback, our injured veterans be damned.
Unless you're very rich or very racist there is no valid reason, whatsoever, to vote republican. The poor white trumpian voter is the most pathetic, undignified character in America. The mindset: "hey, I'm poor, I'm miserable, but at least I'm part of the UPPER class."
