I agree with you here 1,000% His ability to sustain drives would have absolutely decimated Iowa yesterday. It would have gotten really ugly really quickly. That is not a knock on young Anthony Jennings, but more of a testament to Mett and how good he has become.
And hell, it took a whole season, and 2 offseasons for Mett, Landry, and OBJ to get on the same page and be that explosive offense we saw this season. How can we expect Jennings to just tear it up.
Because we're an unrealistic fanbase that expects our running back to be competing with our qb for Heisman, expects Miles to get 13-14 wins a year OR MORE, and thinks our backup QB is definitely better than our starting qb.
Do you realize how long and terrible that sounds. Much less how bad that makes our coaching look...... However, Cam is going to change all of that!!!!!!
it does sound bad, until you look at the fact of just how good Mett/Landry/OBJ were together. I mean that was damn near best qb/wr corp in cfb.
