Why do you have to "hang on to the past"?

How about the year Alexander ran circles around your whole team in your beloved Death Valley? Or how about the all-time record between the teams?

I'd much rather play West Virginia. Hopefully, they can win out.

Okay... I can "hang" on the present...

    Auburn 7-1
    LSU 6-1
    Alabama 6-2

I can also hang on the fact that we will be better than you in men's and woman's basketball this year! :)

    hang on to the past...

Come on man... I must have heard the name Bear Bryant 100000 times on my voyage there

Ladies-yes...We've never been very good with women's bball, plus we have a first year coach this year.
Men-As of right now, yes...We have to find a way to play without a 2 guard but we are a big team and that can bode well IF you play the right kind of basketball.

We have one of the best PG's in the SEC, 2 of the best big men, and the most highly-touted freshman in the SEC in Richard Hendrix. We are big and talented, we just need to find a game plan to work with our big lineup.

Richard Hendrix is definitely a real good player. Can't wait to see him play against LSU. Hey redelephant, you think he could be a 1 and done?

I dont know I sure hope not but I will have to wait and see how he does in SEC play. He had a really good game (double double) against Alabama State but yeah, that was Alabama State.

Also, Davidson has REALLY REALLY improved in the off-season. His long-range jumper is going down like money! In 3 games so far, he is averaging 15.3 ppg, 12.3 rpg, and 2.7 bpg. I am really excited that he is starting to really contribute!

Isn't there a rule that to play in a BCS Bowl game you have to be ranked in the top 15 or so? Even if you are the conference champ of one of the BCS conferences? Anyone know the rule on that?

I'm watching the WVU-Pitt game. Pitt has the ball, 3rd down and about 18. The run the ball about 14 yards for a 4th and 4, but WVU lined up offsides, so they have the option of 3rd and 18 or 4th and 4. Wannstedt declines the penalty and then punts. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why he would not take a shot at the 1st down on 3rd and 15. They were near midfield. Anything I'm missing here?
