That is not in his contract anymore that was the contract before this latest one the 7 year deal......

Also he is NOT the highest paid coach anymore, I believe Stoops is again.

And frankly I dont think Saban should get more money, enough is enough dont you think ????

You mean like Archer, Hallman and Dinardo ? Nick Saban put LSU back on the map and made the LSU job a position to be strived for. The 90's are over, LSU is back in the big time ! I don't want a coach who is "comfortable" here, I want a coach who will keep LSU in the top 10 year in and year out. Because of what Nick Saban has accomplished at LSU, if he decides to leave (and I hope he doesn't), I feel confident we'll be able to find a coach who will manage the program well. Will this coach be better than Nick ? Probably not, but who knows.

IMO, ramah's right on this one. I just can't see Saban leaving LSU, especially to work for WH. He's a man I personally know and like, but would never work for. Been there, done that.

    SHOW NICK THE MONEY!!!

I have zero problem with them paying Nick more. The man is worth his weight in gold. Those of you saying we shouldn't, will be the first to cry :bncry: if our next coach starts turning out 2-9 seasons.

Nick makes LSU a national POWERHOUSE, SHOW HIM THE $$$$$$

    Funny

The "knick knack shop" you referenced (where my blue marlin photo was taken) is only the largest and finest gallery/showroom of glass sculpture on earth. If you've ever seen all the showrooms and galleries in Murano ... you wouldn't call 1 billion+ USD worth of the most exquisite glass art on the planet "knick knack" ... then maybe you would (azzclown award time). My glass collection is small and only worth about $250K now. Photos are strictly prohibited in Murano ... where I snuck this one in very quickly.

"Flea market" looking Blue Marlin, huh ... I guess the twenty or so people (many glass enthusiasts) who last week oooohed and aaaahed at my new den centerpiece were fooled ... You're either a glass maestro or just fullo BS.
I got a hunch on that one, maestro. :hihi:

Who would be better able to make Stoops bow again than "Arliss" Sexton ... the Butch Davis comment at the press conference STUNK OF ARLISS :hihi:

But devious minds are to be appreciated ... and rewarded

Maybe I was wrong about you.

Cadillacattack: Maybe I was wrong about you when I said that you were a skunk.
