You Think THAT Was an Epic?

    This may be the game to hope for, Tiger fans.

    Think about it for a moment: LSU runs thru the regular season and finishes 12-0. At the most, you'll have one more undefeated team, but that seems very unlikely at this point (OSU has the talent, but the sched. is a bit much).

    Anyway, let's say a 12-0 LSU faces a 10-2 Florida. W/ that record by year's end, the Gators are probably back in the top 8, if not higher (they'll be the highest-ranked 2-loss if they win out).

    LSU loses a slug-fest in a close one. The computers still love LSU and the human pollsters, knowing how hard it is to beat Tebow and Fla twice in one year, drop LSU minimally (as they did w/ Michigan last year). B/C LSU is so "strong" in the computers...you guessed it: they become the latest non conference champ to play for all the marbles.

    Alternately, a loss to any 1-loss SEC East team may send said team to the title game, so the 2-loss Fla. team being in Atlanta is key to this scenario.
