Watch this video, remember that Oregon got the ball on this onside kick. Three problems. 1. Not 10 yards 2. OUs player gets interfered with 3. The big one - Notice #23 for OU, he has the ball and is walking off with it at the end of the play yet the refs give Oregon the ball. Wow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IhHPggLpSY Shame refs changed the outcomes of two games, true OU may have considered one or two defenses stops.
there is no such thing as interference on an onsides kick. does not matter if it is 10 yards as OU touched it first. does not matter who walks off with the ball (though I did not see anyone doing this) - it is who has the ball when the ref makes the call. screw OU
Well you hate OU, but OU got screwed as bad as LSU did today. But all that will happen is each school will get a letter of apology and that will be it. Watch it again, the refs are running to the pile to see who has the ball, while the OU player is walking off with it.
I noticed that as well, 23 is already walking away with the ball (right side of the screen) as the refs are rushing in to sort the pile. And they gave it to Oregon? That's unbelievable.
I was happy to see OU lost, but I didn't see any of the game, and turned down the sound on the local post game wrap up. I am sure I will be reading and hearing plenty over the next few days.
the oregon player touched it first - and if you care to back up your hatred with some facts i can dig up many videos that produce obvious evidence that the ball did not go 10 yards before it was touched by an oregon player and then we recovered it anyway. and oregon gets the ball and then we get called for PI on a tipped pass both plays were reviewed, neither overturned
ok, thats a ****ty video thats posted check this one out (and there are many more) http://russellarch.com/blah/OREGON.mov in this video it is clear that it hits an oregon player in the chest 1st http://www.ok-wood.com/robbed3.avi and if you want, i will post a video that shows OU's #4 standing on the 45 yardline and jumping forward. and the oregon player hits the ball in front of him, before the 45 yardline.... before the ball goes 10 yards
news thats almost as bad, is our defense looks like a bunch of idiots running around for the most part
That's some great video work. Your team fights their ass off to beat a football team only to have a ref step in and make things twice as hard. How do you gameplan for the refs?
