Depends when the loss occurs and how badly.

If Oregon loses 56-31 on Dec 4th with a 11-1 LSU sitting idle, there is no way in hell Oregon is ahead of LSU in the final human polls. And LSU will most certainly have a decided advantage over Oregon in the computer polls.

    I'm happy for ya.

The problem with that is if Oregon plays TCU and a 1 loss Auburn goes to the Sugar, LSU may very well be left out in the cold for a BCS bowl game altogether.

Rose: Wisconsin/Michigan State/Ohio State vs Stanford (even with 2 losses)
Fiesta: Big 12 Champ vs Boise State
Sugar: Auburn vs Big East Champ
Orange: ACC Champ vs 1 loss Big 10 Team (especially if a 1 loss Ohio State does not win the Big 10)

Yeah, but you're still likely to have another major conference champ with only one loss. Nebraska, Ohio St, Wisconsin, OK State, ect. The humans are going to decide this, not the computers. They'll just jump a one loss Big 12 champion, for example over LSU in the human polls. See '07.

This is all pie in the sky, anyway. We still have to win out, which won't be easy considering our QB play, except last week, of course. Arkansas, especially, will be a challenging game.

Obviously you haven't paid attention to anything I posted originally. NONE of those teams have a shot at overtaking a 1 loss LSU in the BCS Poll.

FYI, those were not my predictions, but a "who to pull for" guide.

I just hope Indiana can at least scare a "looking ahead" Wisconsin team. LSU needs to slip past them in the human polls this week and hopefully not look back.
