There’s no way Atlanta or Carolina are picking a QB first round. Tampa, maybe.

Carolina might if they decide they are done with Cam Newton.

Ugh, I hate to see Joe go to Cincy. I know they won ok in the reg season with Dalton. But they are a small market team without the history of the Browns. Plus they seem to have the most complacent management in the NFL.

We would welcome Joe here with the Cowboys. Dak continues to remind me of Jordan Jefferson. Yet Jerry is about to overpay and tie up cap space for years to come... again.

I thought about that but I really don’t see them walking away from Cam with how much they’ve invested in him and even if they did, I think Allen would get a shot before they pick Burrow.

Not so sure about that. Cam is way over the hill, and the guy they have been playing is throwing interceptions right and left. Cam is having an off season operation. Plus he is an a-hole. And . . . . the relatively new owner is a) mega rich and b) itching to make his mark on the team he owns.

To get rich you have to understand economics. A central tenet of economic decision making is that sunk costs should not influence future decision making. Cam is sunk costs personified.

You’re assuming that the Carolina Panthers organization is a rational actor.

Jerry may see the light on Dak eventually, but it won't be before Burreaux is off the board.
