Vandy got snubbed. I thought Warner Jones and Jeremy Sowell were going to get the awards.

I was very impressed with Warner Jones. I thought he was definitely one of the better players we saw all year.

I thought Antoan Richardson was an amazing offensive player and fielder. It seemed, and Hawthorne was commenting on this, that he was either scoring or driving in all of their runs.

Unsurprisingly, he lists Juan Pierre as his favorite baseball player. Immediately I thought of Pierre when listening to what Richardson was doing to us on the radio.

You know the SEC is strong when Liuzza doesn't even make 2nd team.

And we face the SEC pitcher of the year in the first tourney game, we need to treat him like he won the Heisman.

Our bats have started heating up at the right time again this year. Hopefully, they will stay that way through hte CWS. I am hoping for a return to Omaha!

I think if we can get past the first game, we will be in good shape to win the tourny. Considering the way we have played on fridays throughout the year, I am a little concerned, but we wont face a better pitcher if we can get out with a win. Though, with a win, we will be facing either UGA or Vandy, both of which have pretty good pitching staffs. Its kind of crazy that a team as good as Vandy is the #7 seed in the conference.
