Its funny what losing will do to a school. I bet the AD will Kiss Spurrier's Azz and try and get him to return. I think the AD is the one that had trouble with Spurrier? I've been suspicious of Zook's head for sometime now and have said so from time to time. I think the 2 things close together that broke the camels back were: 1) the incident on campus with Zook and players at Frat house. 2) No doubt the MSU game No one ever saw the MSU game coming, like a train wreck!
say what you want about zook, i think he is to commended on coaching his team through the end of the season. i have been fired and it hurts. it affects you and your family, now his assistants and their families. i don't know if i would have bveen interested in coaching the gators till the end of the season. i thought that he had some big shoes to fill.

I agree. He came in to the program being reminded that he was the third choice. Two others had declined. Then he was expected to BE Steve Spurt-off. I'm surprised they did not require him to wear a golf visor. He was in a position just like those who followed the Bear. Gene Stallings was a good coach and a fine gentleman. Not the BEAR. If Saban keeps winning and especially if he brings another nc, I feel sorry for the man who replaces him if he goes to the pros or just retires. I'm not sure I would have been kind enough to finish for the admin..It's according to the contract I held. Might have said, "I'm now a millionaire and can live without you too." :lol:
Spurrier wont go back... look for a big name coach at a small school to be lured to gainsville.. maybe Louisville's coach.. he was looking hard a MSU last year.. wont be an assistant coach.. will have to be a proven winner... some people are whispering Bob Stoops name.. didnt know he wasnt happy in Okie.
