I'd bet that they have already lined up Meyer or Petrino and then gave Zook the option to finish out the season or not, they could care less either way. Possibly because Meyer may have agreed to a deal but will finish out his year at Utah.

Then, UF recruiting will be safe and Meyer will be walking into a goldmine.

I mean, cmon, UF has struggled to 8 win seasons and possibly 9 or so this year. What a terrible situation to inherit. Not to mention, anyone with half a name will be put on a pedestal after Zook. They despised him from word go and Meyer is an excellent coach. This is assuming, of course, he's who falls into place.

UF pres came from Utah. where he brought Meyer from Bowling Green a couple years back.

On the sports radio shows, people are asking if Zook could come back as Defensive Coordinator for the Saints. Zook was the defensive coordinator with the Saints before he took the Florida job if you dont remember. Saints defense was better back then but I dont want Zook back here at all. After his showing in Florida we dont need another loser coaching the Saints... we have plenty of those already.

    How the mighty have fallen

FSU, Miami and the rest of the buzzards will feast on the carcass

We better hope they don't get a great coach in there ...

    Rumors that Spurrier will return

He wouldn't dare ... or would he

Urban Meyer or Stoops in FLA in the #`1 recruiting rich region of America

This should be fun to watch
