To make sure that no team has an unfair open date before the SEC championship, the rule is that every team has to play on the last weekend. It’s my understanding that Thursday and Friday are considered part of the weekend. This A.P. article pretty much agrees – LINK Will CBS do 3 games that weekend or will Arkansas at LSU or Florida State at Florida get moved to another network? Even if CBS doesn't take our game, there's still a good chance our game will stay on Friday. It will probably be a while before we know, maybe by late May.

I've had to watch the game in the back room of the office several times. It wouldn't break my heart to see it played on a Sat. night, TV or no TV. The chances of that game going untelevised are slim to none.
When the SEC announced this new rule before last season Skip stated that it would have no effect on the LSU/Arkansas game being on Friday. He aded that as long as CBS picked the game up it would be played the day after Thanksgiving.
