you're a knowing Tiger fan, I'll take your word for it EDIT: you're right,.. wiki totaled, men and women's for the Ducks,.. but only counted the men's for LSU this is what wikipedia says https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSU_Tigers_track_and_field https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSU_Lady_Tigers_track_and_field Men indoor national championships 2001, 2004 Men outdoor national championships 1933, 1989, 1990, 2002 Women indoor national championships 1987, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004 Women outdoor national championships 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2008
The Ducks claim 31 NCAA National Championships among the three track disciplines,.. now 32.! LSU claims 31 NCAA National Championships among the three disciplines Ducks Win.!
The 1933 team br5 athletes to the championship and walked away with it. I remember in th3 70’s track meets would fill the stands. There were several world bests set. I’ve always liked track better than baseball.
track and field meets are fun, reminds me of a three ring circus, with different events happening simultaneously,.. disappointing that dual conference meets are rarely scheduled anymore,.. out west anyhow, I don't know about you guys,.. ... the NCAA Championships are fantastic, only topped by the US Olympic trials,.. fingers crossed those happen this summer, Olympic Trials will be a nice 5 day vacation in Eugene for me, or maybe I'll skip the preliminaries and just go for the final 3 days
I haven't been to a track meet since I was a student. I like the shorter races up to 1500 meters but the longer ones not so much. The only field event I enjoy watching is the pole vault. Now the only time I every watch it is in the Olympics. I don't think there is much of it on TV except for the Olympics
the 4x400 meter relay is my favorite, I'm not a big fan of the sprints, I really like 800 meters, cutest girls, best bods in track,.. field events are a snore,.. pole vault is pretty good sometimes, high jump can be interesting too,.. decathlon and heptathlon are really good in the big meets . build it and they will come
My favorites are the 100 meters and 400 meters. I would have paid to see Usain Bolt in his prime. I really don't care about women's sports at all' track included but I watch it during the Olympics.
