    March 9, 2022 update
Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association plan to pick up talks on a new collective bargaining agreement Wednesday morning after deep-into-the-night discussions produced enough progress toward a potential deal for the league to put off canceling another batch of regular-season games.

Nearly 17 hours of bargaining starting Tuesday morning and ending past 3 a.m. ET yielded some breakthroughs on the 97th day of MLB's lockout, but the union requested to reconvene with player leaders Wednesday before responding to the league's proposal, according to an MLB official

There is an agreement between on the international draft, a source tells ESPN, with MLB and the MLBPA agreeing that they have until July 25 to reach a deal on an international draft that would start in 2024.

    Settle this.!

Spring Training - Philadelphia Phillies at Detroit Tigers

Fri, Mar 18 • Time TBD
Reserved seats between the dugouts are now $72 plus fees and taxes. Behind home plate are $100 +

    For a spring training game?
5 years ago the $72 seats were $18.
They want $30 to sit in the bank of grass in the outfield.

We have legion and college and minor leagues. Used to be 2 minor league teams here. They did away with one of the minor leagues a year or two ago.
Tigers low single A team is based here. Largely developmental and some rehab of the big leaguers. Tickets are cheap.
I can buy tickets to the TB Rays regular season games for less money.
