impossible to know what will happen in a year. for all we know, Stud goes great, and Bowling Green hires him to be their head coach next year. same with Krag, he's staying on to coach QBs this year, but is he going to come back next year? my take is that you want your OC to be your QB coach because he's the best guy that can design the offense around the QB, which is why we had Krag as our OC, why we had Crowton as our OC before that, and why we had Jimbo before that. all three of those are ex-QBs with a lot of experience as QB coaches so if we want to stick with the OC-being-your-QB-coach philosophy, then Stud isn't the ideal OC for us
but remember, when Les was hired as the OC at Okie State, he was an ex-OL with a lot of experience coaching OL, just like Stud. so i doubt Les is heavily biased against having an OL guy as OC for the long term, it's just that all of his hires as head coach going back to his days at Okla St were OCs-that-were-QB coaches. he hired Mike Gundy to be his OC at Okie State, then Jimbo/Crowton/Krag at LSU, and all four of those are ex-QBs with a lot of experience coaching QBs
Although this is an unfortunate situation, it will give LSU a big psychological edge going into the Oregon game to win it for Krag.
Don't take that chit. I speak for him all the damn time. Yeah he gets pissed and yells at me but I do it again. It wouldn't be as fun if he wasn't so predictable
