From Jacques Doucet's Twitter: #LSU Kayshon Boutte says the Tigers didn’t respect UCLA as much as they should have “and we got it handed to us”. Boutte says it’s a valuable lesson learned. https://twitter.com/JacquesDoucet/status/1437826566147432450?s=20 I don't know... LSU still didn't look that great vs McNeese. This truly has the makings of a long season.
Don't know.....the defense was what we expected vs McN. Culture problem would be team-wide. One side of the ball getting corrected and not the other is most likely coaching.
All of us tiger fans thinking, "This truly has the makings of a long season", especially me, are praying that we are wrong.
This is from a post on another forum & reflects his views on the state of the LSU football program. Unfortunately, I agree with his analysis: Opt outs Poor Culture Players getting kicked off the team Players transferring Players ineligible Lack of player motivation Lack of player preparation Poor coaching hires Head coaches off the field antics Poor talent evaluation Poor player development Poor on the field coaching and adjustments Title 9
I see it a little different. I too wasn't very pleased with the first two games. However after thinking about the UCLA game we had a lot of things working against us such as having to uproot the team and practice in Houston at the last minute along with having to travel to California. Lastly playing a team that had a game under it's belt and from what I saw is a much better football team than everyone thought. As far as McNeese I was disapointed till I found out we had 22 players out including 3 OL starters and our best sub out last Saturday. I will wait till Miss St to have a better opinion.
I agree . It’s almost becoming what I quite frankly expected when Elmer replaced Saban. I gave him 5 years tops. He surprised me but when his carriage turned into a pumpkin it went to crap fast. It’s inevitable Baby Huey is toast . By end of ‘23 at latest
