You need a both button on this pole. I prefer DeSantis but Trump is running. If DeSantis runs, Trump will ruin him just like he ruined everyone in 2016. I will vote for Trump over any Democrat. But I would vote for anyone or anything over a Democrat right now and yes, I was a life long Democrat. Hoping Ron stays as governor. If DeSantis could beat Trump in the primary, in the process Trump would ruin DeSantis for the majority of the independent voter. Won't matter of course until and unless they get the suddenly legal and illegal cheating under control. Remember what Joe said, "it's not who votes, it's who counts the votes" Looks like it's Trump 2024, DeSantis 2028.
I’d much prefer trump to see himself as king maker rather than king… he could take credit for desantis’ success and blame desantis for everything else.. for fun, desantis could make trump ambassador to Russia ….
I think it would be wiser for Trump to run this round. Let Ron build a bit more. Florida is crucially important to the game as well. Cant just dip out there either. Ron is smart. He isnt going to run will Teflon Don is hanging around.
For Desantis, it is a bit tough to sit out on the side lines. Trump will choose an attractive fiery female VP that will be the heir apparent for the job after Trumps second term. Going to be a long wait for DeSantis if he does not strike now. I know he is young, but how many hang around that long?
